This evidence supports the employer's duty under PUWER 1998 regulation 9; it does not replace it. The employer still gives the written authorisation for an operator to use a particular machine on a particular site, and PHW's paperwork is what that authorisation stands on.
Every qualification carries a renewal date, and it is shown on the operator's own live verify page alongside their certificates and records, so a site can see at a glance when a refresher is due.
